The Sustainable Living Initiative has been established to promote
awareness of environmental issues and specifically to promote the
use of simple technology to minimize negative impact on the environment
and conserve natural resources in Dominica. To this end we are running
a training programme and building an Sustainable Living Study Centre
in the heart of the Rain Forest at 3 Rivers, where both students
and villagers can experience sustainable living first hand and acquire
skills to adopt environmentally responsible lifestyles.
We facilitate a programme of Sustainable Living training workshops at our education centre.
We offer trainees a truly sustainable living cultural vacation experience.
The Centre is located at 3 Rivers, a small, award winning, eco lodge set in a lush rainforest valley, surrounded by pristine rivers, in natural and unspoiled eastern Dominica, offering relaxation and :
- a variety of eco accommodations
- restaurant, bar and games room
- treks, waterfalls, wildlife, diving, lakes
- ... and much, much more !
